What you will learn:
This course teaches participants about the Oracle Retail (Retek) Integration Bus (RIB) from an architectural point of view. The RIB 11.0 release incorporates significant technical and business process refinements providing message-based integration for Oracle Retail (Retek) Merchandising System (RMS) 11.0 and Oracle Retail (Retek) Store Inventory Management (SIM) 11.1. In addition, the RIB provides support for J2EE and ISO platforms while retaining basic message structure and organization. The goal of this course is to illustrate the capabilities and challenges an enterprise may encounter when integrating applications with the RIB.
